In this exciting and always popular workshop with Hollywood Director, Ralph E. Portillo, students will learn to work under the guidance of a director to create a character. Scenes will be taped, discussed in class, then taped again. See what a difference working with a Film Director Makes. Student's practice auditions will be taped and kept on file for consideration for future projects, which include "HIDE & GO ZEKE" and "4AM IN CHINATOWN."

Mr. Portillo is an award-winning director and producer with over 20 years directing and production experience as well as being President and CEO of Hemisphere Entertainment.

Academy Award winner, Ernest Borgnine, Academy Award nominee, Eileen Brennan, Dick Van Patten, Mario Lopez, Richard Roundtree, John Schneider, Jeremy London, Billy Burke, and Corey Haim are but a few of the many talented actors who have worked under Ralph's direction.

Ralph is a member of the Directors Guild of America and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
