The Chez Group is excited to announce that Shay Griffin and Ric Reitz will conduct their two-part seminar, Putting Your Best Professional Foot Forward, Saturday, June 18th from 10 AM to 5:30 PM!
With an influx of talent coming to Atlanta from all over the country to take advantage of the amazing opportunities in film and television that are here, it is more important than ever that your clients be at the top of their game. We appreciate your ongoing support of our workshop series by getting the word out to those clients who you feel would benefit from our program.
Putting Your Best Professional Foot Forward, with Shay Griffin and Ric Reitz , is geared towards accomplishing the following for each actor who participates:
Shay Griffin will speak from a casting director's perspective as she guides you through the important process of how to best market yourself in this highly competitive industry.
Any slight edge you can gain over your competition could mean the difference between getting a callback or not. Shay will help you navigate the important steps necessary to master the "business of the business". Topics of discussion will range from headshots and resumes to how you walk into the audition room and conduct yourself like a professional actor...including the major do's and don'ts. The morning session with Shay will run from 10 AM to 1:30 PM.
Once Shay has helped you to get the role, the last thing you want to do is lose the job because you are unprepared or uninformed. Ric Reitz will lead the afternoon session from 2 PM to 5:30 PM and will be focusing on helping you keep the job! Topics of discussion will include set etiquette and sound stage techniques. We have all heard the saying that time is money...you do not want to cost the production company money because of your lack of knowledge or your inexperience on the set...and you could ultimately lose the job!
After spending this two-part day with Shay and Ric, you will be prepared to jumpstart your professional acting career.
