Chez Group Workshop- UPDATE

Audition Workshop with Steve Coulter



Actors will be taken through the entire audition process, from when the actor first gets the script, through the first reading, to the callback. They’ll learn how to prepare for the audition, what to do once they walk into the room or are put on tape, how to work with nervousness, and most of all, how to actually enjoy the process. The actors’ simulated auditions will be on camera.



Steve Coulter bio:

Steve Coulter is an Atlanta-based actor, director and writer. A professional actor for 25 years, his film and television work includes Prison Break, Army Wives, Mr. Brooks, Madea’s Family Reunion, HBO’s Warm Springs, and a starring role in the upcoming The People v. Leo Frank on PBS, opposite Seth Gilliam of The Wire. Steve wrote and directed the award-winning film, The Etiquette Man, selected by the Sundance Channel and the National Gallery of Art in Washington. He is currently the head writer and executive story editor for Tyler Perry’s television series, House of Payne, on TBS, and where he was also the head writer for Meet the Browns.

ACTOR TALK

For those of you signed to take the October Chez Group workshop with Steve Coulter on OCT 31st or NOV 1st, we have exciting news!

Shay Bentley-Griffin will be having a sessions called "Actor Talk" on Wednesday October 28th at 6:00 PM. Shay enjoys spending time with the actors who participate in our workshops. When Steve Coulter workshop dates changed it conflicted with Shay's schedule, we decided to do the Wednesday October 28th event for those of you who can attend. This will give Shay the opportunity to spend quality time with all of you.

Our October workshop dates have been changed. If you wish to take the Steve Coulter OCTOBER Chez Group workshop you now have the choice of Oct 31st or Nov 1st. The times will be the same 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM

This workshop is for adults and teens aged 15 or older.
