Writer's Workshop

All great movies begin with an imaginative, structured and compelling screenplay. Here is your opportunity to work one-on-one with Hollywood creative executive Amy Dean to learn the key fundamentals of screenwriting!

Details:
• Twelve Week Course
• Includes:
o intense two day writers workshop
o Covers the ins and outs of screenwriting, everything from brainstorming to pitching the final product;
o A writing period over the course of which writers will meet with the instructor ones a week via skype/ichat
o Editing and revising period
o An Exciting conclusion with a table read of a portion of your screenplay in front of a live audience!
o This program is intended for serious writers and is limited to accepting only six student. Selection is by audition only.
Dates: April 17th-July 10th
Tuition: $ 1, 250.
Audition Info:
1. Please provide a writing sample that is approximately 3 pages. This can be prose, an article, short story, movie pitch, essay, or any other sample of your writing that captures your voice, imagination and proficiency in writing.

2. Also, please provide a one-page essay that answers the question: "Why do you want write a feature-length screenplay?"
