*CASTING CALL FOR “TRAMMEL”* *YOUNG ACTOR NEEDED for STUDENT SHORT FILM*
*When: Friday, November 6, 2009* *Time: 7:30pm – 9:30pm*
*Where: Art Institute of Atlanta - Room 460B on the 4th Floor*
*Parking:* Parking is free at The Art Institute, but if you arrive before 8pm, you need a parking pass from the receptionist in the first floor gallery. Please get your pass and put it on your car before you come upstairs. If you arrive after 8pm, check to see if the receptionist is still in gallery - if not, then you don't need a pass.
*Production Title: Trammel* *Synopsis:* *Trammel* is a short film being shot in Atlanta November 13-15. The word “trammel” is a noun used to describe something that restricts activity, expression, or progress. It is the story about a man named David, who re-tells to a psychiatrist his "trammel": the horrific death and brutal murder of the one person he cared about most, his mother. But soon, the events that took place that one fateful night bring back with it ghosts from the past. * *

*CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:* David (between ages 9-11, African American) A smart energetic kid who has a special interest in police cars and police paraphernalia. When he grows up, he would like to be a cop so he can protect his only surviving parent, his mother.* *

*THE AUDITION:* -- Bring your Head Shot & Resume (At least 2 copies of each.) -- Plan to stay at least 45 minutes to 1 hour. The director may want to meet with you after your Reading to discuss your availability. Your audition time will include a SPECIFIC time.
